ARTIST STATEMENT
As a Character Designer and Animator, I am driven by a passion for creating colorful and imaginative worlds that resonate with diverse audiences. My journey in animation began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Jacksonville University, where I honed my skills in both digital and traditional illustration, 3D, and 2D animation.
My work is characterized by a commitment to representation and inclusion, striving to bring unforgettable characters to life through innovative and impactful design. I believe that every character has a story to tell, and it is my mission to ensure that these stories are told with authenticity and creativity.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with talented teams on various projects, from animating scenes for “The Norman Show” to designing diverse characters for the indie web series “High Tides.” Each project has been an opportunity to push the boundaries of my creativity and technical skills, using tools like Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, and Adobe Creative Suite.
In addition to my professional work, I have gained valuable experience in customer-facing roles, such as my time at Walt Disney World and Resorts, where I learned the importance of storytelling and guest engagement. These experiences have enriched my understanding of how to create characters that connect with people on a deeper level.
My artistic journey is fueled by a desire to make a positive impact through animation, bringing joy and inspiration to audiences worldwide. I am excited to continue exploring new techniques and narratives, always aiming to create characters that are not only visually stunning but also meaningful and relatable.
